Job Description/
Responsibilities 		a. Carry out laboratory analyses efficiently, effectively and accurately, completing all assigned analyses on time and to schedule. b. Liaise with the process personnel to ensure effective application and interpretation of laboratory data. c. Undertake routine sampling, analyses and information collation for raw sugar, process, utilities and factory microbiology using available laboratory equipment and instrumentation. d. Work safety and effectively ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and practices e. Accurately, and on-time, log analysis and other relevant data on the laboratory’s data system for use by process and other personnel. Advise the Shift Chemist of variation from specification or normal operational parameters which might affect technical performance and quality.


Profile Experience Required • Hands on experience of laboratory analysis techniques e.g., Brix, Pol, Viscosity, colour pH • Able to capture lab data on the computer system.(Computer literacy) Academic Requirements Qualified to a minimum of technical diploma or equivalent.
